As Mertsom, we manufacture non-standard special nuts demanded by the national and international industry. These products are made with a customer focus or customer image development. It is produced by using various nature-friendly raw materials during production. The marking of our special nuts can be determined by the customer and is made as 04, 05, 6, 8, 10, and 12, depending on the relevant strength class. These products, which have a wide range of uses, are preferred by many sectors. Some of these are the lighting industry, construction material manufacturers and the electrical-electronics industry.
Production capacity
In the production of special nuts, our factory can manufacture hexagons between M4 and M12. According to the ASME standard, it has the ability to produce dimensions between 3/16 and 1/2. Our daily tonnage capacity from these product groups varies according to the product. Quality control processes start with the first sample and are carried out periodically during the day at regular intervals.
In line with customer demands, thread forms for special nuts can appear as metric, whitworth, and gas threads. Apart from these forms, special production can be made as fine gear or left gear. All products pass between threading checks and as soon as they pass, they are checked with the help of a buffer gauge.
Coating and Quality Control
Surface coating processes with different corrosion resistance can be applied to special nuts in line with customer needs. In this way, we can increase the corrosion resistance and determine a certain friction coefficient values in line with customer needs. Some of the coatings we make are acidic zinc, alkaline zinc, zinc-nickel or lamellar (Dörken / Magni) coatings. Special nuts, which are produced, are checked by quality engineers and are ready for shipment after final quality control process according to EN10204 specification. Lot number tracking is done in a way that does not exceed 5 years. It can be stored in the archive for up to 10 years for automotive and similar strategic sectors.
